Velocity’s Strategic Account Managers work with a portfolio of key customers to facilitate sustainable, long term business. They report to the Regional Sales Manager and work closely with internal teams. Strategic Account Managers are responsible for achieving set goals, developing and executing sales strategies, and building and cultivating both internal and external relationships.
Core Responsibilities and Functions:
• Develop and nurture customer relationships and ensure complete coverage to maximize business potential and customer satisfaction
• Uncover strategic sourcing and excess opportunities from assigned accounts
• Create demand by covering all relevant service offerings
• Facilitate and manage customer requirements through entire sales process: sourcing, quoting, order management, and delivery
• Effectively follow sales processes, including CRM requirements
• Deliver exceptional experiences and outcomes
• Represent and communicate Velocity's culture, values, and value proposition
